8th July 2015,Delhi NCR: Vivanta by Taj-Surajkund, Delhi NCR introduces TADO, The Artisan and Deli Oven, a premier bakery house and one-stop-deli for exceptional gourmet food. The first of-its-kind in the city unwraps to offer authentic patisserie items which are available for takeaway, as well as dine-in options. This charming space is lined with gleaming glass cases filled with appetizing cakes, pastries, breads, cheese and charcuterie.
With the expert craftsmanship of Executive Chef Ganesh Joshi, TADO is exquisitely and intricately designed. The USP of this artisanal space is in-house conventional recipes made with organic ingredients. The raw components used to curate the TADO menu are unique whole elements like pure honey, wheat flour, millet flour, omega seed oils and in-house preparations of fruit mixtures. TADO serves a range of crude beverages including green teas with medicinal herbs, masala tea with untreated spices and powdered organic coffee which act as anti-oxidants. Additionally, the menu also has select gluten free products for vegan audiences.
Speaking on the launch of The Artisan Deli and Oven, Mr. Rajeev Khanna, General Manager, Vivanta by Taj Surajkund, Delhi NCR said “We are pleased to announce the launch of TADO at Vivanta by Taj Surajkund, Delhi NCR. Executive Chef Ganesh Joshi said ”TADO creates high quality dough from the finest organic ingredients and offers secret enriching home grown recipes, ensuring that nothing less than the exceptional pastry and snacks is delivered. Use of organic elements in our recipes is the USP of all artisanal products offered like mix fiber-grain bread, multigrain as well as natural French baguette. TADO will also extend its menu to selected artisanal desserts and snacks tailor made for in-house as well as outdoor occasions.”
The Artisanal Deli & Oven offers an endless array of treats available from a delightful range of decadent desserts, handcrafted chocolates, scrumptious pastries and tantalizing cakes along with selection of espresso and iced teas. Additionally, TADO will also serve for take-away and outdoor occasions. The menu will range from hand-made artisan breads, hot/cold canapés starters; custom-made portion of salads and dips, mixed bag of ready-to-eat vegetarian and non vegetarian sandwich spreads along with cold meat options.
TADO is derived from Delicatessen which is derived from a German word “Delikatessen” which means delicacies or fine food. Perfect for any breakfast or evening getaway, TADO offers a wide range of Viennese products. TADO is located on the ground floor and is operational all seven days from 11 am to 8pm. Vivanta by Taj Surajkund fluently affiliates itself with the Artisans of the Oven, bringing art to the delicacies primed with health and nutrition.
