Dalma is the restaurant I had seen on food travel shows, so curiosity took me here. Food here is not really impressive.

Fish Thali (Rs 200) is nothing elaborate, with a decent-ish mustard fish curry. In comparison, Veg Thali (Rs 140) that my Odiya colleague has ordered looks much more tempting.

Their speciality Chingudi Dalma (Rs 200) is too spicy to be called dalma. And there is nothing bambooey about the taste or the texture of Bamboo Mutton (Rs 300).

The sweet duo of Chhena Poda (Rs 55) and Chhena Jhilli (Rs 55) are just about OK.  My Odiya colleague is emotionally disturbed at the unauthentic nature of the dalma and the two chhenas.

Can be avoided.
