Cin cin (pronounced "chin-chin") means cheers in Italian. The restaurant has been trending for its freshly made pasta and wood fired pizzas. It is an all-day space that is unfussy in its décor and also its menu, which looks alluring enough for us to come here for lunch.

We start with Charred Broccoli Freschi (Rs 230) with lemon, chilly and almonds and it is delicious. I have never been a fan of broccoli but if I were to get it cooked perfectly like it is done here, I have no problems having it anytime. Salmon Avocado Crostini (Rs 690) has smoked salmon under some good avocado, with onions and lemon dressing and makes for a great tapas snack.

The restaurant is known for its fresh black truffles and I order Creamed Egg and Truffle Crostini (Rs 290 plus Rs 900 for 3 grams of fresh black truffles on top). The dish has a distinct hit of meaty umami flavour, though the intensity is lesser than what I was expecting. Perhaps 3 grams is too little truffle!

The freshly hand rolled Pappardelle pasta (Rs 680) with lamb ragu is simply delicious. The ragu here is one of the most flavourful ones I have ever had. Branzino Mediterraneo (Rs 790) or pan seared Indian sea bass made Mediterranean style with peppers, onions, cherry tomato and broccoli mash has perfectly cooked fish and an impeccable mash.

One can’t finish an Italian meal without the dolce in the end. Trio of Sicilian homemade ice creams (Rs 290) with scoops of apple and cinnamon, Zabaglione (an Italian sweet made of whipped and heated egg yolks and sugar), and dulce de leche; combined with almond croccante (brittle) make for a good dessert.

I will be back here. Have to try their popular pizzas and perhaps some more broccoli!
