Banana Muffins

Banana Muffins
Ingredients:

1/3 cup melted butter
¾ cup ground sugar (either white or brown is fine)
1 1/2 cup refined flour 
1 tsp baking powder
½ tsp salt (skip if you are using salted butter like Amul)
1 egg
1 tsp powdered cinnamon
3 small ripe bananas or 2 big ones
½ cup walnuts



Preparation:

Preheat oven at 175 C.
Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt.
Mash the bananas, add sugar, cinnamon, butter, egg and mix well.
Now fold in the sieved flour mixture gently in the banana mixture (if you do it vigorously, the muffin will not be spongy but dense). 
Add the chopped walnuts and fold them as well.
Pour in cupcake cases/muffin tray or 2 loaf tins and bake for 15-20 mins for muffins and 25-30 mins for loaves, till a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
