Air Fried Sanna Pakaoda/Kanda Bhajiyas
1. Besan (gram flour) – 1.5 bowl medium sized
2. Rice flour – ½ bowl medium sized
3. 2.5 medium sized onions sliced
4. 1 tsp Ajwain
5. 1 tsp jeera
6. 1 tsp turmeric powder
7. 1 tsp red chilli powder
8. A pinch of baking powder
9. 2 green chillies chopped (Adjust as per the desired spicyness)
10. Chopped coriander – A handful
11. 1 tsp oil
12. Salt to taste

1. Apply salt to onions for 15-20 minutes so that the onions are moist and they will leave the water. We will use this moisture in making batter.
2. Mix the above ingredients with onions and make a thick batter. Use little water if needed. But make sure batter should be thick and not runny.
3. Keep it aside for 10 minutes.
4. Now take a piece of foil, brush it with oil and put into air fryer basket and pre heat the air fryer for 5-7 minutes at 200 degrees.
5. Now make small balls of the batter and place them on the foil, make sure that foil should not be free from sides and corners else the flow of air will blow it and the batter of pakodas will be messy and may take the shape of cheela. If that happens don’t worry and enjoy the cheela with green chutney. See the air fryer basket below for reference.
6. Now air fry them on 180 degrees for 5-7 minutes and increase the temperature to 200 degress and fry till crispy and golden brown in colour. Check in between and adjust the temperature accordingly.
7. Serve hot with freshly made coriander chutney.
