Chicken Pulao

1 precut chicken
3 cups rice - soaked for half hour.
Whole masalas - 3 Big cardamom, 3-4 green cardamom, 2-3 bay leaves, 1 stick cinnamon, 6-8 cloves
3 tbsp ginger garlic paste
1.5 tbsp oil
1 tbsp ginger slivers 
3 big onions - sliced
1 tbsp lemon juice
Garam masala, chilli powder, salt
Coriander - to garnish


1. Take a large pan and put the oil, all whole masalas, onions and fry the onions till little brown. Then add ginger garlic paste, chicken, salt and fry little more till chicken is bit browned.
2. Add the garam masala, chilli powder, rice, lemon juice, ginger slivers and 3.5 cups water, check for salt and add if needed more.
3. Let it come to one boil, and then cover the pan and cook till rice done. Garnish with coriander.
