Gurgaon does not have a good Chinese take away place. I miss authentic Punjabi Chinese food. To get good chilly paneer or chilly chicken one has to go to Sarojini Nagar, Lajpat Nagar or Karol Bagh that dish out true blue Punjabi Chinese food that has been liberally doused with ajinomoto and chilly sauce.
One place that I have found close to Indian Chinese in Gurgaon is Waiyumun Chin, a fairly old restaurant in Gurgaon, whose claim to fame is their claim to be a renowned brand from Mumbai which is a difficult claim for any Mumbaikar to stomach given that they have little known restaurant there in Santacruz. The claims apart, I find this eatery’s food to be better than the others I have tried.
Today for Sunday family lunch I ordered (through Zomato) one Waiyu mun chin seafood soup (Rs 160) that is pretty tasty and great value for money; grilled chicken black bean (Rs 295) with a good chatpata flavor.

Pan fried seafood noodles (Rs 189) that has an excellent gravy but not so good oil soaked noodles.

Is the food here recommended? Well, if you are lucky it is. But it is not always consistent. When it is good, it is great – I can vouch for the DT Mega Mall branch but I have heard some not so good reviews of the Supermart 1 Branch.
