The review was anonymously done after paying for the meal.

It was the office New Year’s party for 31st December lunch. I checked Zomato and found this outdoor place that is perfect for this season. It seemed reasonable, like many other places, with cheap alcohol and expensive food. So we all landed up here at 1 PM sharp to a pretty deserted restaurant. While deer park is beautiful at this time of the year, the restaurant was all ready to celebrate new years’ eve, with balloons etc. To my shock the alcohol prices had been raised 250%, bringing it on par with five star rates.

Too late to do anything we settled in and ordered our expensive tipple, along with snacks. The service was goofy, and the menu totally mainstream and boring.

Veg Ultimate Nachos (Rs 315), Yellow Chilly Prawns (Rs 575), Paneer Tikka (Rs 345) and Murg Malai Tikka (Rs 475) were competently made.

Seekh Kabab (Rs 475) was too dry to be enjoyable. Tandoori Aloo (Rs 345) was so tough that it gets stuck in the throat.

Margarita Pizza (Rs 425) and the curiously named Prawn and Shrimp Pizza (Rs 525) were let down by their cardboard base.In a nutshell, clichéd food with varying quality.

So yes, it makes sense to come here in this weather, once the prices have come down to their original levels (I really hope they do). Order pitchers of cocktails and stick to nachos. It is too expensive to order the other stuff.
